AFTRS dance film masterclasses

AFTRS is launching a new masterclass in July for cinematographers, choreographers and dancers.

The two-day course will explore the aesthetics of the dance film genre of the 20th century through to contemporary screen dance practice using works of national and internationally recognised leaders in the field.

Led by Physical TV’s Dr Richard James Allen, participants will team up to work in AFTRS film studio with dancers, working on different scenarios, material and approaches to capture dance for the screen.
